The Community Health Endowment works with a number of community partners, including the Lancaster County Medical Society, every two years to produce Place Matters maps. These maps provide detailed information regarding barriers that county residents face toward living a healthy life. Those barriers include:
- Access to Healthy Food
- Lack of Health Insurance Coverage
- Access to Primary Medical Care
- Access to Prenatal Care
- Poverty Level
- Minority Population
- Older Adults
- Social Vulnerability
- Youth Fitness
- Residents with Disabilities
- Life Expectancy
When reviewing these maps, community leaders are able to see where resources are most needed to make Lincoln an ever healthier community. Review the Place Matters 6.0 booklet.
