Foundation
Established in 1984, the LCMS Foundation funds select, quality educational programs. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
The mission of the LCMS Foundation is to promote the further advancement of education care in the local health care delivery system and help address community public health concerns.
Community Projects
The LCMS Foundation allows us to partner with our physician members to address community health care concerns. Currently we support these major initiatives:
LCMS Medical Referral Services (formerly Lincoln's Health 360 Project Access)
This is a comprehensive and collaborative program with many community partners including individual and corporate sponsors designed to assist people in getting the medical care they need. This program includes the following initiatives:
- Medication Assistance Program
- Specialty Care Access
- Medical Home Access
- Physician Referral
- Translation - to assist our member offices in serving non-English speaking patients
Collaborative Partners

Disaster Plan
LCMS has been an active participant in the development of the local Disaster Plan. In the event of a local disaster, LCMS coordinates hospital assignments for each physician.
